Echo of days past
Will light the darkened mind.
Cold needles of black rain
Will burn frozen body.
Scream from the chest muted by suffering
Shatters torn light.
And blood of scourged mind
Colors wet soil black.
I will hear their whisper through my scream,
Eyesight will freeze in moment of eternity,
And rain will weep with tireless prayer,
Heaven will wear mourning tatters.
With shaking hand I will tear my chest
To reach the bars of ribcage.
I will reach the heart and choke it
Will silence the sound of beating.
To close the doors behind me forever,
Turn to ash my body forever,
To leave never being warmed by the sunlight,
To greet them with familiar grimace.

Epic DOOM at its finest. I’m partial to the Aphonic Threnody track, but calling it “better” would be silly. Personal preference is all. I find it has a bit more depth than the Ennui track, particularly in the guitar sound. But both songs are fantastic. J. Wukotich

Skepticism worship. Calm funeral doom with nice melodies and a droning organ sound. Mending music for those times when everything seems to fall apart. tr_🇺🇦
